BBC journalist Richard Taylor published a video review of the the Smart Home Kit in which he builds the Doorbell Answering Machine and concludes, “it fires the imagination and gives a deeper understanding of how your electronics work.”
Ayah spoke recently at Emtech, the MIT Tech Review conference that highlights invention and new developments in engineering and technology. In her talk, Ayah spoke about the need to democratize hardware in order to transform society, and how littleBits can be used as a building block. She introduced the cloudBit and posed the question, “Can we take the biggest revolution of our time, the Internet, and make it a building block, so that you can invent with it the way you’d invent with other materials?”

We love to see littleBits paired with other gadgets and tools. So, it’s very exciting to see littleBits used with K’Nex for the first time! Paul Anderson made this video of his hand wave creation and it’s gotten our entire office brainstorming more ways to incorporate K’Nex.
