The power of littleBits has arrived with the release of our latest modules: logic gates, wireless transmitter and receivers, and the Arduino at Heart. At the Maker Startup Weekend in San Francisco last month, we were proud to see littleBits modules, new and old, used for hardware prototyping. The modules were incorporated into early stage inventions ranging from an improved UV nail dryer (see below) to a long-distance vibrating toy, which won 3rd place in the competition. The Maker Startup event, which was organized by Lime Lab, Highway 1 and PCH International, brought together designers, makers and entrepreneurs to share, develop and pitch new startup ideas over one weekend.
