Speaking at MIT Media Lab, Life Long Kindergarden Group!

April 5, 2012

On Friday April 6th, I’m thrilled to be speaking at the MIT Media Lab‘s Lifelong Kindergarden group as part of their lecture series! As the group that gave rise to Scratch, LEGO mindstorms and PicoCricket, and practically invented the “Learning Through Play” game, LLK has always been a big inspiration of mine. For the first time, I will talk about the technical platform that is littleBits, an entirely analog, modular, “object-oriented” hardware platform, providing the ability to program behavior without having to write any code.

After the talk, I’m so happy to take part in the Lab’s crafty tea and get some spicy new projects out the current Media Lab grads!
