Using the littleBits Gizmos and Gadgets kit you can make a Halloween version of the Rotolamp. Add a skull hologram on the top to give a spookier look on the wall. 

Duration: 1 hour to build

How To Make It

STEP 1 : Assemble the Rotolamp

Follow the instructions for the Rotolamp on page 17 from your littleBits Gizmos & Gadgets Kit.

STEP 2 : Add the background

Using a clear plastic like paper, print out some “spooky” pictures. Then take the Rotolamp sleeve off and tape the plastic on to it. Place it back onto the Rotolamp circuit.

STEP 3 : Making the hologram

Use the same type of paper to print out four skulls and a triangular prism. Put the prism on top of the skull pictures and you can see a hologram inside the prism.

STEP 4 : Combine the Rotolamp and hologram

Put the hologram (both the skull and the prism) on top of the Rotolamp.
