Johnson's Jaguar

by kleftin

Published on March 21, 2017

This is a car the class built out of cardboard, tape, and plastic fruit cups.  Then they added headlights and taillights, along with a spare tire and heating and AC fans using the LittleBits.  They finished it off by using an App called Assembly to design stickers to add color and design to the car.

Duration: 3 Hours

How To Make It

STEP 1 : Johnson's Jaguar

First the students explored with the little bits to see what all they could create. Once they decided on a car, we found the cardboard and one group worked on making the car while another worked on making the lights. Then they merged their ideas and put it all together. They added things like fruit cups over the headlights and taillights, taped up all the loose cords, added a spare tire and fans for heating and air conditioning. Lastly they designed stickers to add to the outside of their car.
