This project was created by a group of teachers working together in a LittleBits professional development workshop. There was some serious engineering going on here and a whole bunch of fun!

How To Make It

STEP 1

The biggest challenge in this project was getting the tree to bend. This was done using a plastic spline, ripped from the inside of an old VHS cassette. A servo and fishing line were used to increase tension on the spline causing it to bend. Some greenery was added from the hedges outside to create the look of the tree (they needed trimmed anyway)!
