An Arduino powered synth that maps a slider (or other input) to 5 different musical scales (major, minor, pentatonic, blues, phrygian), making it easy to jam and sound pretty good without having to learn any scales or music theory.

How To Make It

STEP 1

USB Power -> Slide Dimmer -> Arduino A0

STEP 2

Power -> Dimmer -> Arduino A1

STEP 3

Arduino D5 -> Button -> Oscillator -> Speaker

STEP 4

Arduino D9 -> Bargraph

STEP 5

Upload the attached code to the Arduino using a USB cable

STEP 6

Use the Dimmer to select a scale (major, minor, pentatonic, blues, phrygian)

STEP 7

Use the Slide Dimmer to select a note

STEP 8

Press the Button to play the note

STEP 9
