A buzzing back massager that looks like a hand! Make this project with your littleBits Starter Kit.
Videos and Recipes
Let's begin by creating the circuit! Connect the following bits in this orders: power + pressure sensor + bargraph + wire + vibration motor
Next, draw a shape for your back massager handle on cardboard and cut it out. Our back massager is shaped like an arm, what will yours be shaped like?
When you are designing your back massager handle, make sure you include some holes for your Bits. You will need 1 hole large enough for a ping pong ball to fit through. You should also design a hole large enough for the pressure sensor to be accessible. Last, but not least, you will need a hole that is large enough for lights from the bargraph.
Then, use an x-acto knife to cut a hole in the ping pong ball. Use a glue dot to secure the metal vibration motor inside of the ping pong ball. Squeeze the pressure sensor to feel it the ping pong ball buzz!
You are almost done! Now you just have to add your Bits to the back massager handle that you designed.
Press the pressure sensor and let the relaxation begin!
