INVENT A GAME TO TRAIN YOUR AIM! Grab some buds and lots of paper balls - this invention tallies how many times you hit the target and keeps score on your device. 

 

HOW IT WORKS

  • The p1 power Bit provides electricity to the circuit.
  • The i13 light sensor detects when its environment is dark, and sends a signal to the Bluetooth Low Energy Bit.
  • The w30 Bluetooth low energy Bit receives the signal and sends it to the littleBits Invent App via Bluetooth, triggering a response on the smart device.

PLAY: Set a timer and put down your phone, you'll want to use two hands to get the most points possible in 30 seconds! Challenge your friends! Who can get the most points while closing their eyes

 

REMIX: Make your game even more fun!

  • ADD SOME FANFARE. For extra effects, snap the buzzer and bargraph to the circuit in front of the Bluetooth Low Energy Bit! 
  • ADD A CHALLENGE. Use the split Bit and servo to make a target-blocker. Snap the second Bluetooth Low Energy Bit in front of the servo for a two person game!
  • MAKE NEW RULES. Try playing paper soccer or paper T-ball. Come up with your personal version of Aim Game.

BUILD YOUR CIRCUIT.

ADJUST THE LIGHT SENSOR. Using the purple screwdriver, turn the sensitivity all the way to the left.

STEP 3 :

LINE UP THE HOLES OF THE TEMPLATE WITH THE HOLES ON THE MOUNTING BOARD.

STEP 4 :

PRESS THE FEET OF THE MIDDLE BIT THROUGH THE HOLES ON THE TEMPLATE UNTIL THEY SNAP ONTO THE MOUNTING BOARD. Check out mounting board tips & tricks here.

FOLD THE TEMPLATE OVER THE CIRCUIT.

STEP 6 :

SECURE THE BATTERY TO THE MOUNTING BOARD.

START PRACTICING. Connect the Aim Game to COUNT UP control using the littleBits Bluetooth Low Energy Bit Controls. When you press the template down, or hit it with a paper ball, the number read-out in the app should count up.
