PledgeCents is the GoFundMe for educators.

November 9, 2016

We understand that getting fun, effective STEM/STEAM-learning tools into schools can sometimes be a challenge. Between finding funds and getting administrative approvals, it can be a long process. But we have some exciting news to share! Now, educators, administrators, and even parents can fundraise for littleBits for their kid’s classrooms on PledgeCents. PledgeCents, commonly referred to as the ‘GoFundMe for teachers,’ has over 1,300 schools in 51 states on their platform. Since their inception, over $600,000 has been raised, impacting 300,000 students nationwide. Isn’t that amazing?

PledgeCents has made it easy to get started. It only takes 5 minutes or less! Here’s how to make your own campaign:

1. Sign up for an account on PledgeCents, then click “Create a Cause” and enter a little personal and school information. Add a few sentences about what you’ll use your Bits for.
2. Share your story with your community.
3. As you begin sharing your cause, you will see investments coming in. Once all the funds are raised, PledgeCents will send the check directly to your school/organization.

It’s that easy!
