Play a song with the Arduino Tone Sequencer by Paul Drongowski AKA “pj” from Westford, MA. Pj explains: “Synth people and other musicians call this kind of application a ‘sequencer’ because it plays the sequence of notes as an endless loop… In fact, if you have the Synth Kit, you might want to send the audio signal to an envelope module, filter, etc.”
The code is basic enough for a first time musical coder and the dimmers are completely optional. If you have an Arduino module and speaker, give it a try! Then, try changing the code to react differently to sensors of your choosing on the left. Finally, share your remix at littlebits.cc/invent ! 🙂

Family Inventing with Fatherly + Spotify
On Friday, we had 15 Bitsters represent at the Spotify + daddy blog Fatherly Pre-Fathers Day event. We practiced our DJ vocabulary with DJ Natalie of Baby DJ School, rocked out with k-indy band The Pop Ups (some of us might have found a new life calling), and got bits in the hands of over 100 parents and kids! The results were nothing short of magical – watching dads and daughters have their moment together, listening to parents talk about how the synth kit could be a game changer for their kid engaging in music, and watching members of our team facilitate family learning.
That’s all for today, Bitsters! If it’s summer where you are, ENJOY!!! 🙂
