Tanaka-Satoshi

Make Dojo is a makerspace based in Japan focused on the practice of bricolage, creating projects using a diverse range of everyday objects. Make Dojo provides workshops to teach kids and adults how to rapidly prototype creations. As Make Dojo’s founder, Tanaka applies this concept to his beautiful cardboard creations, which were some of our favorite projects of 2014. We recently reached out to Tanaka and were lucky to get to interview him about his process.

I am based in Central Chiba, Japan.

My maker superpower is making nice objects rapidly, because to me I must finish making before it is erased from my brain! Every innovative idea comes to my head suddenly, so I’m always ready to start making with littleBits and everyday stuff.

I am inspired by EVERYTHING.

My dream bit is Wind power generator & solar panel bit

I have used littleBits to make:

Sound Shoe

Cardboard Hedgehog

Cardboard Accordion
