New Orleans Public Library consists of 14 library locations in Orleans Parish with more than a million visitors last year. We provide completely free programming for adults, teens, and children. Our portable makerspace is hosted out of the Main Library and can also be found around town for special events.
Help us celebrate the National Week of Making with this month's challenge to create a music instrument. While the National Maker Faire is happening in Washington D.C., we'll be making our own orchestra. We'll film a music video(s) towards the end of the meetup. Call 504.596.2565 with any questions.
Come show us your competitive side! We will be participating in the #BitOlympics challenge. We have brand new bits to use, so come pick your sport and get ready to compete.
Please call (504)596-2565 for additional info.
Open to ages 8 and up and their caregivers.
Free street parking on Sundays.
We meet the third Sunday of every month to create and build with littleBits.
For this #BitOlympics event, we will be up in the auditorium on the third floor instead of the Youth Services department. This means we will have more space for throwing, flying, and going the extra distance for our inventions. We'll have some inspiration playing on the big screen while we create and compete.
Call 504.596.2565 with any questions.
