The sketchBit is a single input / single output bit that allows direct control of your bits with your smartphone or by any other wireless protocol. With this new sketchBit, you can now combine the flexibility of The AirBoard broad range of wireless shields and the diversity of littleBits bits to make your own devices, robots, etc...

The AirBoard is an Open-Source, miniature, compact, wireless, autonomous and ultra power efficient 100% Arduino-compatible development platform designed to learn, sketch and deploy your prototype out in the field, fast!
* It is self-powered by a 3.7V 150mAh Lithium-ion battery which recharges via a micro-USB connector or via a 2.54mm breakout connector when connected to littleBits.
* It is compatible with XBee-footprint wireless shields available on the market: Bluetooth 2, Bluetooth Low Energy 4.0, WiFi, XBee and more to be announced very soon...

The AirBoard is currently available for pledge on Kickstarter http://ks.theairboard.cc Please support us today!

* One input bit goes to The AirBoard Arduino-analog pin #5.
* One output bit comes from The AirBoard Arduino-digital pin #10 (PWM capable).
* A micro switch selects digital (direct) vs analog (low-pass filtered) output. This allows to drive either analog bits or more specific peripherals such as Neopixels.
* Level translation from The AirBoard regulated 3.3V GPIOs to littleBits 5V system and vice-versa is managed within the sketchBit.

In the original spirit of "atomic" littleBits modules: 1x input + 1x output + 1x Arduino-compatible brain = KISS ("Keep it simple stupid", or we may also say "Keep it small and simple")!

1,000 votes reached thanks to you all! We're very honored to be now under review by littleBits.
Hope that this module combined with the recent success of The AirBoard Kickstarter campaign (1,000 backers from 50 countries) will open new ways of rapid prototyping for everyone.
